Aviatrix, by Savannah Schroll Guz

Savannah Schroll Guz studied under painter Alexander McBride at Juniata College in the mid-1990s. Her works on paper largely explore individual histories and the ways in which these personal histories contribute to collective memory. Her work has been exhibited at New York's Limner Gallery, the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, and has been part of Washington, D.C.'s Art-o-matic, among other venues. She currently divides her time between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Weirton, West Virginia, where she lives on a family farm with her husband Michael and two dogs, Jasper and Freddy.
